They were much alike in that regard. Some of Mccarty’s books skip the falling in love stage and go straight to love. So she traded in her legal briefs for Scottish historical romances with sexy alpha heroes. I liked that about her character. She employs a lot of characters and weaves them masterfully in and out of different books, sometimes across series. She showed a quiet strength. Return to Book Page.
