You finally start getting glimpses of a hidden heart here and there but it’s like a grain of sand, very tiny. There has to be a better way to integrate this into the novel. Which I know is part of the story but I would really enjoy a little tidbit every now and then to see into the character.

I still think that Moning overdid it with the Pinky Rainbows act in Bloodfever.

Honestly, I don’t see the chemistry between them at all. It truly bored me and I found myself skimming for the parts with Mac and Barrons and yuck, those were horribly boring too. You think you know something…and then…wam…so totally different to what you thought!!!!!!!

Plus the anticipation is kind of fun. Yeah, I’m going crazy and I tried to warn you. Mac bloodfevr made no progress on any of the things she was trying to accomplish. Rowena is such a wicked character…I so hate her and hope she comes to a really gruesome ending!!!!!!!!

Where to begin with the disappointment? For chaining up the Seelie?

Do you think that by remaining cold and unmoving you can escape responsibility for the havoc your actions have caused? She’s grown a lot since the first instalment and she’s lost most of her air-headed attitude which is a huge relief.
